Compilation of supporting documents and annexures

Collate all supporting documents — company registration, audited financials, lab layout, patents, publications and all DSIR-required annexures.

Internal review and quality check of complete application package

Full internal review by SCPL's DSIR experts — checking for completeness, accuracy and alignment with the latest DSIR guidelines before submission.

Submission of application on DSIR portal
Week 6–7
Filing of the complete application package on the official DSIR online portal as a single PDF within the prescribed format and size limits.

Follow-up with DSIR on application status

Active follow-up with the DSIR office on application processing status and acknowledgment of receipt from the department.

Coordination for site visit / virtual inspection
Week 9–11
Prepare your team and R&D facility for the DSIR inspection — coordinate logistics, documentation presentation and personnel briefing for the visit.

Response to queries / clarifications raised by DSIR
Week 11–13
Prepare and submit detailed written responses to any queries or clarifications raised by DSIR post-inspection — handled end to end by SCPL.

Receipt of DSIR Recognition Certificate
Week 13–16
Final receipt of the DSIR Recognition Certificate — your R&D unit is now officially recognised and eligible for all associated fiscal incentives and funding schemes.
